Winging it with chicken and gin –
I would like to thank Naa Ako-Adjei for this recipe, which I found on Food Republic’s website. She also has some other tasty looking recipes to try, so here’s the link.
A classically trained chef living in Washington DC, she said: “I am a firm believer that alcohol belongs in food as much as it does in a bottle, so I paired gin, with its nice woodsy undertones, with the sweetness of brown sugar for a Gin and Lemon Chicken Wings recipe so easy that you can prepare it during commercials.”
Prep Time: 5 min – Cook Time: 30-35min – Level of Difficulty: Easy – Serves: 4
Ingredients
- 4 pounds chicken wings, at room temperature
- zest and juice of 1 lemon
- 1/4 cup Gin
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon salt
- freshly ground black pepper
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F. (220C)
