Kevin on to a winner!

GINblogger is pleased to announce that the box set of Black Dog and Navy Strength Beast gin – kindly donated by the Dartmoor Distillery – has been won by one of our first followers: Kevin Rose from West Hill in East Devon.

Kevin’s number came up in the draw to mark the first anniversary of GINblogger: 12 months in which we have posted one review a week, along with other many other stories relating to the booming gin industry, including serving suggestions, great places to enjoy the juniper spirit, mixers, mixologists, recipes, and even a branch of the Hash House Harriers who enjoy a G&T half way round their route.

We also ran a short feature on Kevin Rose’s own business Framed Flies, when he contacted us to point out that ‘Gin clear’ is a common description amongst fly fishermen for the UK’s numerous chalk streams.  Gin Lover One duly added this to her definitions of gin, to be found on our Home Page under FAQ’s.

For those who would like to know more about John Lawton’s excellent brace of gins, based on Dartmoor botanicals and spring water from a farm in the National Park, you can click on the links above or find them in our Top Ten list on our Home Page.
